How to Participate?

The San Antonio Parks Foundation provides
arts/crafts/goods, food, corporate exhibitor vendors, and entertainers
an opportunity to join family-friendly events.

Arts/Crafts/Goods

Vendors are provided a 10’ x 10’ area and should provide their own tables and tents. Pop-up tents should be free of advertising and/or wording besides the local vendor name, product, pricing or company, white tents are preferred. Vendors are permitted set up time in advance of the event and must contain their display within the dimension of the space rented. All vendors are also required to submit a photo of all items that will be sold at the event with the completed application.

Food Vendors

Food vendors will be provided an 8’ x 8’ booth and should provide their own tables and equipment. Food vendors must keep all products within rented booth space. Vendors using a bar-b-que pit or grill will be required to rope or barricade area to protect attendees. Food vendors will only be permitted to sell the food items approved by the SAPF. The Food vendor must review and comply with all standards required from the Health and Fire Departments. A $30.90 Health Department Fee and a $30.90 Fire Permit Fee and $25.00 electrical is included in the booth fee. The San Antonio Parks Foundation will obtain the necessary permits for Health and Fire prior to event day. If electricity is requested and available, vendor must provide their own heavy-duty outdoor extension cords. All vendors are also required to submit a completed application.

Corporate Exhibitors

Information vendors are provided a 10’ x 10’ area or larger for additional fees and should provide their own tables and pop-up tent if needed. Pop-up tents should be free of advertising and/or wording besides the corporate information vendors name, product, pricing or company. Vendors are permitted set up time in advance of the event and must contain their display within the dimension of the space given. All promotional materials and giveaways must be listed on the application and informational handouts or brochures should be sent in as part of the application. Final application approval is at the sole discretion of San Antonio Parks Foundation.

Entertainment

All entertainment must be live music. SAPF will designate the performing time for each participant. No performances will be allowed outside of their scheduled area and time.
Submission of application does not guarantee acceptance due to limited performance schedule. If upon receipt of the application, performance time/date is not available, the applicant’s name will be placed on a waiting list as performance slots are on a first come - first serve basis. Performers 18 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Additional Information

Texas State Sales Tax
All vendors are responsible for collecting/paying Texas State Sales Tax as applicable to their product. You can obtain additional information at the State Comptroller’s office by calling 1-800-252-5555 or by going to their web site at www.window.state.tx.us.

Vendor Cancellation

THERE WILL BE NO RAIN DATES FOR ANY EVENTS. If event is cancelled due to weather, no refunds will be given. Vendor cancellation will be assessed on an individual-basis. Any permit fees will not be refunded. San Antonio Parks Foundation retains the right to prevent future participation of any food vendor for conduct deemed, in the SAPF’s sole discretion, unacceptable and/or detrimental to the mission and reputation of the SAPF and the event.

Submission of Application
Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance due to limited space. San Antonio Parks Foundation retains the right to prevent participation, terminate any activities or booth programs for conduct deemed, at the San Antonio Parks Foundation’s sole discretion, unacceptable and/or detrimental to the mission and reputation of the San Antonio Parks Foundation.
